NHL | The Vancouver Canucks have contacted UFA-goalie Jonas Hiller's agent - but are also in contact with Ryan Miller.
-
Interessanter Artikel: "Wie gut sind die Schweizer Verteidiger wirklich?"
-
Hiller definitiv weg in Anaheim, ev. eine Option für Vancouver?
Anaheim Ducks @AnaheimDucks
#NHLDucks Murray on Hiller; "He gave us a great five years, but we have young guys pushing for that spot. The writing was on the wall."Mark Spector @SportsnetSpec
Do the Vancouver Canucks take a look at Jonas Hiller on the UFA market? Canucks are arguably the weakest in goal in the Pacific. -

ZSC COACH MARC CRAWFORD HOPES TO RETURN TO THE VANCOUVER CANUCKS
NHL - Due to the Vancouver Canucks' search for a new coach, the Vancouver based newspaper The Province has dedicated an article to a possible return of ZSC's Marc Crawford, who has already coached the Canucks between 1998 and 2006.
"I've been in contact with all three teams (looking for a coach)," Crawford told The Province and added: "With varying degrees of success." One of those teams are the Vancouver Canucks.
Whereas there are still other front-runners for the coaching job in Vancouver, Crawford, who is currently in Vancouver for a golf tournament, hopes to get a chance to talk to Trevor Linden, the Canucks' new President of Hockey Operations. A meeting, however, is not scheduled: "I don't have anything set, yet," Crawford said.
As The Province writes, Crawford has "some intriguing selling points", as he's coaching a fast-paced hockey, which is exactly what the Canucks are looking for, and he's already familiar with Trevor Linden, whom he coached for four years during his stint in Vancouver.
Crawford thinks he's ready for the job: "I watched more Canucks games than I probably did Zurich Lions games," the 53-year-old said. "I know a lot of those guys, I know what they're capable of."
