Hey there,
And here's unfortunately our last recap of this World Championshiop (in English): https://nlicedata.substack.com/p/swiss-vs-germany-qf
We talked about this low event game (not many chances for both teams) becoming a 50/50 game where it shouldn't have, Fischer's time on ice distribution in the third period, how the Germans did a great job at preventing the Swiss team from getting the puck out of the defensive zone in control.

Hey there,
On this quarter-final day for the National team, we wrote a recap about the preliminary round: https://nlicedata.substack.com/p/switzerland-round-robin-recap
We talked about the team in general (in all situations, at 5v5, on the PP or PK), all the players by their positions and also what lineup we expected to see from Fischer (Hofmann's line was the best for the moment, so it should remain intact).
As Thibaud also tracked all Germany's games during the tournament, he wrote a preview of the team here: https://nlicedata.substack.com/p/qf-switzerland-germany-preview
He talks about the Germans' weaknesses (their defence mainly), their PK, their very strong first line (Reichel-Pföderl-Noebels) who was one of the best in the DEL this season, their strong goalie Niederberger.

Hey there,
And here's our game recap for the game against Belarus (in English): https://nlicedata.substack.com/p/switzerland-vs-belarus-game-6
We talked about how this game was an easy win, how they badly outplayed Belarus and especially at 5v5, how they created offence (high-danger passes), how they scored (on three rebounds), how excellent they were at getting the puck out of the zone, how excellent Hofmann was once again but Meier carried the team offensively this time.

Hey there,
And here's our fifth game recap (in English): https://nlicedata.substack.com/p/switzerland-vs-russia-game-5
This time, we talked AGAIN about Hofmann's dominant game for ... the fifth time already, how EVZ's players were able to find each other quite well on some sequences, a close game but a game where Switzerland was ahead in expected goals but couldn't finish its chances, or how Russians were able to gain the offensive zone.

Hey there,
And here's our fourth recap (in English): https://nlicedata.substack.com/p/switzerland-vs-slovakia-game-4
This time, we talked about Hofmann's dominant game for ... the fourth time already, a game where most things went right contrarily to the last one, but until mid-game it was a closer game than what the score tells us, how SUI's players got better at entering the offensive in control as the game advanced.

Hey there,
And here's our third recap (in English): https://nlicedata.substack.com/p/swiss-vs-sweden-game-3
We talked about Hofmann's dominant game for ... the third time already, a game where most things went wrong, but a game that was closer than what the score tells us, how SUI's players had issues entering the offensive in control, or how SWE used the forecheck to create offence and draw penalties,

Hey there,
And here's our second recap (in English): https://nlicedata.substack.com/p/swiss-vs-denmark-game-2-v2
We talked about Hofmann's dominant game again (he killed it in transition), SUI's incredible performance at even-strength dominating a Danish team like rarely seen (4.88 - 0.24 in xG), how it created offence, how they fare in transitiions or Meier that deserved some more goals.

Hey there,
And here's our first recap (in English): https://nlicedata.substack.com/p/swiss-vs-czech-republic-game-1
We talked about Hofmann's dominant game, Genoni's solid game, SUI's incredible performance on the power-play (thanks to a weak CZE PK) or Hischier very active and efficient on the transition and in creating plays.
