    Salis hat schon einige Fehler gemacht - würde er aber nicht alles unternehmen, D.B bei einer allfälligen Schweiz-Rückkehr zum Z zu holen - dann wäre das wohl aber der gravierenste. Ein schweizer Stürmer mit den Qualitäten eines Brunners - momentanes Tief in der NHL hin oder her - gehört einfach zum Z.

    Salis würde seinen Job nicht machen, wenn er nicht bei jedem CH-Topspieler anfragen würde.

    So gut auch unser Nachwuchs ist, immer werden nicht "Cuntis" und "Kenins" daraus.
    Aber Kenins wird uns verlassen und bei Cunti befürchte ich es auch.

    ABER: Noch ist Brunner in der NHL nicht gescheitert, und falls es doch passiert:

    Brunner würde seine Wunden zu 99% in Zug lecken, wo die Chance, wieder ins alte, gute Fahrwasser zu kommen am Grössten ist!

    Falls wir Cunti tatsächlich in die NHL verlieren sollten wäre Brunner so ziemlich der Typ Spieler der ihn ersetzen könnte - ob das den Fans nun passt oder nicht!

    Aber keine Angst, es wird nicht passieren! :razz:

    Hat sich klassisch überschätzt und verzockt. Das der nicht zu den Devils passt war ja eigentlich allen klar. Schadenfreude hab ich keine, hoffe das aber die Spieler ein bisschen besser überlegen was sie tun sollen, und nicht blind nur der Kohle nachrennen. Schade für sein Talent!

    Am 18. Septämber 2014 sinds genau 15 Jahr sit de ZSC de evz ide Herti nach eme 1:0 Rückstand und 4 Goal im letschte Drittel 1:4 usenand gnah hät! Isch eine vo mine erschte Ishockeymätch gsi. Ganz geil isches gsi mit ere super Stimmig :cool: Sither bini immer 60 Minute uf Oerlike statt 15 Minute uf Zug gfahre. De Sieg im Halbfinal gäge Zug mit em Hartley isch eine vo mine persönliche ZSC Highlights.

    Bin bald wieder in Bonita und wür mich sehr gern für s letschtjährige Bier revanchiere! Gange zudem a min erschte NHL Match in Tampa Bay (gäge Montréal). Allerdings stönd mir d Canadiens ufgrund vo minere Beziehig zu Maine chli nöcher als d Lightnings. :wink:

    Isch ja no witzig gsi: De Gustav Nyquist hätt ändi letscht Saison super mit em Brunner i de gliiche Linie harmoniert. Ha beidi öppe glich guet gfunde. Aber.... er hätt uf die Saison müese id AHL retour! Er isch dänn allerdings relativ rasch wieder ufe gholt worde und jetzt schiint er sich dete beschtens etabliert z'ha. Isch hauptsächlich e Frag vum Salary Cap gsi. Und das hätt wohl au de Brunner betroffe. A dene beide Biispiel gseht mer, wie's cha gah. Aber lueged mer emal no, was wiiters passiert.

    Was i no guet finde isch, dass de Brunnerli nöd über d'Wings Gschicht redt. Weder im CH Fernseh, no suscht nöimet, au mit keim Journalist. Er weisses sicher sälber au, dasses en Seich gsi isch, aber jetzt bliibt em nüüt anders, als sich durezbiisse und uf besseri Ziite z'hoffe.

    Why He’s Here:
    When the Devils signed Brunner just before the season to a two-year, $4.5 million contract, it looked like a smart move to add offense in the wake of Ilya Kovalchuk's departure to Russia. Brunner had 12 goals and 26 points in 44 games as a rookie with the Red Wings last season, his first NHL season after a solid career in Switzerland. This year, Brunner has been ineffective. He has four goals and eight points in 26 games and has been a healthy scratch three times (ab hütt sinds dänn 4 x) and his minutes have been reduced by coach Peter DeBoer.

    How Much Has It Hurt:
    The Devils are clinging to third place in the Metropolitan despite averaging 2.21 goals per game this season, fourth-worst in the league. Brunner's inability to score, especially in the shootout, has been a detriment to the team.

    Chance He’ll Rebound:
    Even when Brunner finds himself in the lineup, he's been benched for long stretches during crunch time. There's a good chance he will not produce anything this season.

    In fact, head coach Mike Babcock heaped lofty praise on both players recently as reported by Helene St. James of The Detroit Free Press. “They’ve made us way better,” Babcock said. “Nyquist has come and given us another real good player and so we have a better team because he’s here.”

    Alternate captain Niklas Kronwall has pinned even loftier labels on the young Swedish winger of late, clearly indicating that he’s becoming an essential part of this Red Wings team.

    Not too bad for a second-year player who has only recently cracked the Detroit lineup.

    Many Detroit Red Wings fans bemoaned the fact that veteran forward Dan Cleary’s presence on the roster essentially blocked Nyquist’s 2013-14 debut with the team.

    General manager Ken Holland’s near-erotic attraction to signing veteran players cost Nyquist (and likely the Wings) a shot at starting the opening game of the season in explosive fashion. Nyquist did just that in season debut nine games ago, potting two goals, including the game-winner, against the Carolina Hurricanes.

    His performance wasn’t exactly a surprise as Nyquist displayed considerable offensive talent (often of the jaw-dropping variety) in last year’s playoffs.

    Indeed, Nyquist’s offensive ability and value to the team has been apparent since last season and now, it looks as if he is poised to become a long-term component of Detroit’s offensive arsenal.

    Still, Nyquist’s path to the 2013-14 Detroit Red Wings roster might not have been as frustrating as Tatar’s.

    Despite making the team out of training camp, Tatar was forced to wait for his chance to crack the lineup as he began the season as a healthy scratch.

    Like Nyquist, Tatar seemed more than ready to become a regular NHL player. However, the “veterans-first” mentality that has long existed in Detroit forced Tatar to wait and watch the older guys underperform while he, last season’s AHL playoff MVP, waited in the press box.

    While some guessed this might have placed a rather large chip on Tatar’s shoulder (and who could blame him if it did), the diminutive Slovak displayed nothing but professionalism both on and off the ice.

    Tatar’s tenacity and determination is almost comical at times inasmuch as he appears to be incapable of giving up on a play or being cowed by bigger, stronger opponents. Still, there’s nothing funny about his compete level or the fact that he’s on pace to end the year north of 40 points in his first full season as a Red Wing.

    When looking at Nyquist and Tatar, one can’t help but see that these are two players that have earned everything they’ve been given so far this season and figure to give back even more to a Detroit team that is now relying on both players to pick up the slack created by the absence of Datsyuk and Zetterberg.

    As time moves on, it seems reasonable to think that Nyquist and Tatar may very well prove to be the “Euro Twins” of the future.
